0.70 (also known as the January Update) is the thirteenth version of Progressbar95 and the first version of the 0.7x family. It brings:
- BarOS 7
- Color and Jigsaw Puzzle game modes
- Modding support (Steam)

0.7000 (also known as 0.7100) is the release version. It was released for Android on 2 February, 2021, for Steam on 3 February, 2021 and for iOS on 4 February, 2021.
- A way to open the Launcher.
- New assets for BarOS 7.
- New sounds for BarOS 7.
- Progress Computer Boot Menu now shows all systems regardless of whether they are unlocked or not.
- Modding support. (This change is only available for Steam.)
0.6840 is the release candidate version. It was released for Android on 29 January, 2021.
- Updated assets.
- Bug fixes.
0.6830 is the beta version. It was released for Android on 26 January, 2021.
- Pattern Editor for BarOS 7.
- New assets for Bar System 2 to BarOS 7.
- Icons for more achievements.
- Bug fixes.
0.6820 is the alpha version. It was released for Android on 22 January, 2021.
- BarOS 7.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This update was unofficially nicknamed the "Mods Update" by the community.
- The Steam News article on this update mentions it by 0.7000's iOS version number (0.71; minus the two ze). This was later proven to be a mistake by Icoeye.
- In the files for PB-DOS Shell, there are boxes for BarOS 8 and BarOS 9. In 0.70, these were unused, since the both of them were being postponed to different updates.
