BarOS 8 (also known as BarOS System 8 in the achievements screen) is the eighth operating system in the Progresh lineup, it is based on MacOS 8, made by Apple Computer and released in 1997.

According to the About box, the system was released in 1993, two years before BarOS 9.

  • Additionally, in the game's files, an icon of Barari in the "art/skins/B8" folder can be found.
